Apologies for the radio silence! I’ve gotten some lovely correspondence from some of you, telling me how much you enjoyed Abundance. It warms my heart to hear your thoughts! I have been remiss in keeping up communications here, as you can tell… it’s been months since I posted. BUT I HAVE AN EXCUSE! I’ve been hunkered down for the latter half of this year, making headway on the next book, Ascendance. Progress has been slow but steady, with the delay exacerbated by life, duties and a video game called Silksong. But I have persevered!

As of today, I have a full first draft of Ascendance in place. The teaser logline (which may still change, of course): “A double homicide in the idyllic city-paradise of Singapore propels CID investigative officer Raz into a vast conspiracy network on the hunt for a deep state item of immeasurable value…”

The first draft completion comes at a good time. I’m going to put the project down for a few weeks, let the details simmer in the ol’ brainpan, and then pick back up in January. It’s a story that I’ve enjoyed putting together and looking forward to fleshing out and elaborating on in the new year. And hopefully will do a better job of staying in touch…
